Unexpectedly good food I wasn't too optimistic when I walked in - it was a very quiet midweek and there was only 1 other couple present. However, the food was really good and if I had been in the area longer, I would have definitely been happy to eat there again.
Faultless local cuisine and hospitality. My Australian partner noted the Strangford Lough Mussels were the best she ever ate hands down! Great selection of international wines also. Highly recommended stopping here for lunch if exploring the Ards peninsula.
So delicious. Lovely pub food. Ards Peninsula area is gorgeous to drive around.
At the end of another day of cycling and sightseeing, it's such a pleasure to have a relaxing drink, meal, and pub chat. Can't beat the menu or the craic!
Very friendly service, food was to die for and you definitely won't leave hungry. Good menu choice as well. I'll definitely be back.
Good food Apart from a couple of surly staff members, this restaurant is very good. Food delicious and plentiful; you will certainly not leave feeling hungry. Really nice interior, full of history and lots of charm.
Limited early bird menu but probably not a bad idea. Food is excellent and they do a wide variety of local craft beers.
Fantastic Find While staying at a cottage in town, our host recommended this place. I’m so glad she did because the food was the best we have had in Northern Ireland while on our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend their seafood chowder! Great food, service and atmosphere!
